  1. How do I make a booking?
    You can call +91-97910 92940  (or) write to bookings@offtoride.com

     

  2. What are the formalities to hire a motorcycle?
    a. You must have completed 25 years on the day of hiring
    b. A copy of your passport and driving license and any original ID proof like Aadhar/ PAN/Company ID to be submitted
    c. International visitors must have an International driving permit endorsed on their country’s license or must have a valid Indian driver’s license
    d. A refundable security deposit of Rs.10,000 would have to be paid. In case the original passport cannot be submitted, the deposit amount would be Rs.25,000. The same shall be refunded upon safe return of the bike. The amount may vary depending upon the number of days hired and the bike model selected
    e. At the time of vehicle pickup, you would need to sign the vehicle rental agreement that details all the terms and conditions. For a brief on the terms and conditions, you may please check the T&C below

    f. Kindly note hiring motorcycle is at the discretion of Off to Ride management
     

  3. Can I drive with my national driving licence or do I need another licence?
    You would need an international driving permit issued by your home country along with your local licence

     

  4. What is the security deposit?
    There is a refundable deposit of Rs 10,000 or Rs 25,000 per motorcycle (based on the above formalities) before commencing the trip. The deposit rates would vary depending on the motorcycle and the number of days hired. This security deposit would be refunded provided the motorcycle is returned to us in the same condition without repairs or damages. In case of any repairs, the vehicle would be checked for at the service station thoroughly and any necessary amount will be deducted from the deposit

     

  5. Can I have the motorcycle delivered to my location?
    Yes, You can have the vehicle delivered at your doorstep for a small fee depending on your location. Please check with us on the cost of pickup and drop before confirming your booking

     

  6. Can I drop the motorcycle at a different location?
    Yes, You can drop the bike at a different location within the city limits but there may be additional charges towards the same

     

  7. Can I hire a motorcycle for long trips?
    Yes, you can hire for longer trips by booking in advance and subject to availability of the motorcycle. We also can customize your tour by providing a suitable itinerary and provide a complete package for your tour. Whether you want to travel solo or in groups, you can contact us and we can personalize your tour

     

  8. How does the insurance work? (Only for tours)
    We provide insurance through a third-party service provider that covers medical expenses for the customer. Insurance coverage would be subject to terms and conditions. Insurance coverage is subject to availability from the service provider

     

  9. Can I hire helmets and other safety gears?
    Yes, you can hire a helmet, jacket, gloves and other luggage systems for an additional cost

     

  10. What happens if I cancel my booking? (Only for Motorcycle Hire)
    a. After a complete reservation, if you wish to cancel the booking, cancellation charges would be applicable as per below. We will try our best to accommodate you on a different date within a month of the date of the ride as per the availability of the vehicle.

    *Kinldy note this is not applicable for tours
    During peak season, all cancellations would be non-refundable and the cancellation policy will not be applicable.
    If in case of a no show after reservation or less than 15 days before the scheduled date of hire – No refund
    16 days to 30 days before the scheduled date of hire – 50% refund
    More than 30 days before the scheduled date of hire – 75% refund

     

  11. Is there any limit on the number of kilometers that I can ride?
    You can ride up to 300 Kms for 24 hours beyond which extra km charges would be applicable as per the terms

     

  12. Is a medical certificate to go to high altitude required? (only for tours)
    It depends on your health condition and any specific health issues you might have. In case of doubt, please consult with your doctor before undertaking such travel

Refunds and cancellation policies at Off To Ride

 

Off To Ride Rental services:

 

Cancellation: If you wish to cancel the booking, cancellation charges would be applicable. We will however try our best to accommodate you on a different date within a month of the date of ride as per the availability of the vehicle. During peak season and holidays, all cancellations would be non-refundable and the cancellation policy would not be applicable

 

Refunds:

 

Any cancellation done at the last minute due to non availability of required documents - No refund

In case of no show after reservation or less than one week before scheduled date of hire - No refund

One week to fifteen days before scheduled date of hire - 50% refund

More than fifteen days before schedule date of hire - 90% refund

 

Off To Ride Tours:

 

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any reason(s) we must be notified of the same in writing or email. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive such advice and cancellation charges would be as follows:

 

90 days prior to commencement of tour: 25% cancellation charges apply

31 - 89 days prior to commencement of tour: 50% cancellation charges apply

0 - 30 days prior to commencement of tour: 100% cancellation charges apply

No show/Non completion of the tour: No refund applicable

Any cancellation from your side will attract tax @ 18% of the package cost

 

Apart from the above during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year, long weekend along with festival holidays) no refund shall be possible at any point once your booking is confirmed. Cancellation terms vary for different tours and will be shared by email while booking the package.

SECTION 4 - PAYMENT

 

We use Razorpay for processing payments. We/Razorpay do not store your card data on their servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved.

 

Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

 

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
